Well it’s hard to believe but I’m writing about snow again. It’s the end of March and the course is closed under a blanket of snow. Last weekend’s Professional Trophy Qualifier has been postponed to June and it’s not clear we’ll be playing much this weekend. March has been both cold and wet. We welcomed Luton Irish Golf Society (LIGS) to South Beds on St Patrick’s day and had a lovely time playing in the pouring rain. Thanks to LIGS and Michael Davis we had a great time despite the weather. We continue to welcome new members from a range of clubs in the local area and I hope to see them on the course soon. When we have played, the course continues to be in excellent condition although we are extending winter rules until the end of April. As the Beatles said ‘Here comes the sun’
